Social Events this summer
Our new Social Team of Zoe and Clare have been busy. Firstly there will be a Car Treasure Hunt and Family Barbecue at the club at Watcombe Bottom on 28th June, starting at 11:00 am. The entry fee is a mere £3 per car and plus £1.50 per person for the barbecue. A digital camera or camera phone is required (one per car).
Secondly there will be the Silly Olympics – again at the club – on 26th July. Team registration starts at 10:30 am. Enter a team of 5 to 10 people. The entry fee is £2.00 per person which includes a voucher for the barbecue. Events include welly throwing, backwards relay, space hopper obstacle race, tug-of-war etc. Oh, and the bar will be open . .
Zoe and Clare are also looking for ideas for the carnival this year (12th August). Anyone with inspiration or offers of assistance, please make contact.
