This weekend – Sat 27 February 2010
This Saturday (27th Feb), Ventnor 1st XV play Lychett Minster at Watcombe – kick off 2:30. This game was originally meant to be played on 9th Jan but got snowed off. There is a chance that the pitch may not recover from the rain, so keep an eye on your emails for updates.
The 2nd XV game away to Tottonians has been cancelled.
Over the last few days, Flan has sent out 36 texts to players to check on their availability for the 2nd XV game. He has had 4 replies. If you get a text, please reply immediately so Flan knows where he stands. It’s bloody hard work being the skipper of the 2nd XV – especially before an away fixture – so please be more pro-active. There are only two more Merit Table 3 matches this season, so let’s make sure we put out a strong team for both.
