This weekend – Sat 27th March – VP Day and last home matches of the season

This weekend, Saturday 27th March, both teams play their last home league matches of the season.

The newly promoted 1st XV take on Verwood in Hampshire League Division Two at Watcombe Bottom whilst the 2nd XV play Andover 4ths in Merit Table 3 at the Middle School. Both matches kick off at 3pm.

Ventnor Golf Club is sponsoring the 1st XV match whilst the 2nd XV game has backing from John Hilsum Associates. Many thanks to both.

It is also our last Vice Presidents’ Day of the season so we are hoping to see plenty of friends (old and new) at the club to help celebrate the 1st XV’s promotion to Hampshire Division One.

The clubhouse opens at 1pm and there will be a finger buffet generously supplied by Bookers of Sandown.

As you probably already know, the Annual Dinner Dance and Awards Presentation is taking place at the Ventnor Towers on Saturday 8th May. The price of a ticket is a mere £23. If you are looking to attend contact Zoe (07769 693 425) or Clare (07791 176 611).
