Rugby Friendships

Despite cultural differences, mad cow disease and lorry blockades, friendships between Ventnor RFC and their old rugby rivals of Bollene persist.  Micky and Martine Boissel visited the Island recently, staying with Emile Rouby and then Roger and Gill Evans.  Micky played in the first ever Bollene match back in 1976 - which was played at Forlands Middle School .  He loves the Isle of Wight and was royally entertained by many - including Wozzy Godden, Barry Pike and John Whitehouse.
