The next two weekends mark the 40th anniversary of VRFC. This coming weekend, 27/28 September 2014, is exactly 40 years since the first game, a narrow 8 point away win at Havant Mariners. The following weekend 4/5 October 2014, marks the anniversary of first home game, a 21 point win over US Saracens. The game was played on the slope that was Ventnor Middle School.
You are all welcome to come along, have a drink and share some stories with both the 1st and 2nd XV having home ties. Their will be a VP lunch from 1300 with guest speaker, Rons raffle and celebratory ties.
