Ventnor Rugby Club Patrons

With the untimely passing of our patron Steve (Ozzy) Hall last year, we are delighted and honoured to announce that his widow Lesley Hall has accepted the role of patron in his stead. Lesley has been a great supporter of the club over the decades. Tom Smith stays on as our other patron – thank you Tom for all you do.

Starting at midday, there will be stalls, a barbecue and a charity football match between Ventnor FC and Ventnor Legends (k.o. at 1pm) – and the bar in the rugby club clubhouse will be open.

In addition there will be a bouncy castle for the children and Danny Worboyes, the head coach of the Football Fun Factory, will be coming along with fun activities for the kids.

There’ll be live music from Greg Barnes and Beathan Jones with karaoke in the evening. All of this – plus the raffle – is in aid of two charities, namely, St Catherine’s School and Men Only Isle of Wight which assists men experiencing a mental health challenge, loneliness or isolation.
