VP’s Lunch on 18th November and News Updates
There’s no rugby at Watcombe on Saturday since both Ventnor 1sts and 2nds are travelling to Eastleigh RFC for their respective league games. Jewy and Jack are once again taking good numbers with them which is a huge credit to the players and coaches. Wish ‘em luck.
Vp’s Lunch – Saturday 18th November 2023
I know it’s short notice, but we’re hoping to reschedule the Vice Presidents’ lunch (that we had to cancel last Saturday) for Saturday 18th November, when Ventnor 1sts play Havant RFC 3rds.
We plan to sit down at 13:00 to be ready for the kick-off at 14:30.
Sally Cooper of The Bistro at London House in Ventnor will be providing her customary excellent fare and Ron Hunt will be running the raffle with the usual eclectic prizes from our President, The Rev Warren Riches. Please let me know if you’re interested asap.

Chilli Night – training on Thursday 16th November 2023
ONE EXTRA THING: There’s going to be a chilli night after training on Thursday (16th November) in the club.
Sally is going to cook us a chilli, with rice, sour cream and cheese accompanied by hot nachos covered in melted cheese.
£8 per head. Booking essential. The bar will be open.
