Whilst Ventnor RFC 1st team are scheduled to travel to Andover RFC, subject to Storm Darragh, and any disruption to travel, Ventnor RFC 2nds are due to welcome Fareham Heathens RFC to play in the Hampshire Premiership South – Merit Table 2024-25 league fixture against the Fareham Heathens 2nds, on Saturday 7 December 2024. Further updates tomorrow once news on travel disruption is known.
Ventnor 2nds last game was away to Tottonians RFC 3XV on Saturday 30 November 2024, where they suffered an 21-15 away loss.
After a last minute loss away at league leaders Tottonians last Saturday, Jack Rushton leads his fast developing squad out for a rare home match tomorrow when Ventnor’s 2nds take on Fareham Heathens.
The kick off is at 14:00.
It’s great to see Ed Clarke and Alex Morton back in the fold and there’s a debut for Luke Steele.
Meanwhile the father and son combo – Iain and Dylan Reeves – start for the first time together.

Selection Boxes for St Mary’s Hospital and Mountbatten
Please can everybody coming to Watcombe bring a selection box with them.
As he does every year, Tim Davis is collecting these for the St Mary’s Hospital wards and the Mounbatten hospice. Let’s see if we can outdo last year’s selection box mountain!
And let’s also hope that Tim can at last crash over the try line!
