Six Nations Games 2025 in the Clubhouse – thanks to Roly
Meanwhile the inestimable Roly has sorted the TV once and for all and we can be confident that the Six Nations games will be on (Italy v Wales at 14:15 and England v France at 16:45) in the clubhouse.
Obviously it was disappointing that Overton weren’t able to travel with a full squad last weekend and we had to play the game under Hampshire RFU’s protocols of matching their numbers (in this case 13 v 13) with uncontested scrums. The game lacked that usual edge but it was a well fought victory by Ventnor’s 1st XV with tries from Dan Lythgoe, Joe Coghlan, Alec Bulpitt, Lewis Jones and Ed Blake. Max Wheeler kicked two conversions. The final score was 29 – 14.
