Food Allergies and Intolerances

If you are attending a Ventnor RFC home fixture or club event where food is served and you have a food allergy or intolerance please provide details via the form below. This will help the caterer and club prepare food and try to accommodate your allergy or intolerance.

This includes visiting players and supporters, along with anyone who may be visiting and eating food or drink served at the club.

This includes the 14 notifiable allergens (as per the Food Standards Agency 14 allergens), plus any other specific food allergens or intolerances you may have outside of these 14 foods. More details on allergens the FSA website

‘The 14 allergens are: celerycereals containing gluten (such as wheat, barley and oats), crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters), eggsfishlupinmilkmolluscs (such as mussels and oysters), mustardpeanutssesamesoybeanssulphur dioxide and sulphites (if the sulphur dioxide and sulphites are at a concentration of more than ten parts per million) and tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts).

This also applies to additives, processing aids and any other substances which are present in the final product.’

You may have another food allergy or intolerance from a food not listed as part of the 14 allergens, so please notify us of these where you have an allergy or intolerance to them.

Please provide details in advance of the date of the Ventnor RFC fixture or event to help the club and caterer prepare the food for your allergy or intolerance.
