Why do you play rugby?
Rugby is something quite new to me and once I started i was hooked! Getting together with the team on a Saturday and going to war with brothers is what really makes it for me.
Most enjoyable part of playing rugby?
Getting a good string of play together and scoring that all important try.
Least enjoyable part of playing rugby?
Has to be losing a game you worked hard for.
Who do you love playing rugby with at Ventnor RFC?
Ever since joining Ventnor RFC, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and supportive from a newbie perspective, I’ve made friends for life here and that’s on and off the pitch
Most memorable Ventnor RFC moment on the pitch and why?
This would have been my first home game in the Ventnor shirt and scoring my first try.
Most memorable club moment off the pitch and why?
The team getting together for a curry night after training
What’s your most embarrassing moment in rugby?
Most embarrassing moment has to be launching a huge kick up field from full back, forgetting however that I played everyone offside and forgot to charge it down.
Least memorable moment at the club (on or off the pitch) and why?
I’ve not had any of these yet.
Who’s been the biggest influence on you playing rugby?
Jack Rushton encouraged me to play and I’ve never looked back
Who at the club would you most like to be stuck in traffic with and why?
Bob Parker would definitely bring the tunes and the banter!
What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen or heard on the pitch?
Rosco Harris in for a try and dropping the ball just yards from the line. I’d like to add I didn’t realise he pulled a hamstring at that point

What do you like to do away from rugby in your spare time?
Spending valuable time with my wife and daughter
What would you like to achieve outside of rugby?
I’d like to one day run my own Web Development Agency, long term goal of mine

It’s an addictive place to be around, there’s always a brilliant buzz around game day
