Become a Club Sponsor
If you are interested in supporting Ventnor RFC as a club sponsor then there are the following package/s available:
Package 1
Match Sponsorship for the season. Price £50 minimum. We then allocate a home 1st XV Hampshire League game to the sponsor to which he or she is invited, greeted and supplied with a free beer! The sponsor’s name (or company name) will be displayed in the clubhouse and is appended to all match reports which are sent out to all the usual Island media outlets. The sponsor’s name is also included on the list of sponsors on our website (with a link if requested), our Fixture Card (over 250 circulated) and our club Christmas Card (over 200 sent out). All sponsors are eligible to apply for tickets to England home matches at Twickenham. We purchase an allocation from the RFU which we sell on at cover price to members and sponsors. If requests exceed our allowance, the tickets are allocated via a lottery draw. (Due to the World Cup, there are no autumn internationals so there are only 6 nations tickets available this coming season).
Package 2
Match Sponsorship Plus. Price £100 minimum. All the above PLUS an invite to all our Vice Presidents’ Lunches (held five times during the season). The lunch price is a paltry £12 which includes your raffle tickets with the chance to win some excellent and often extraordinary prizes.
Package 3
All of Package 2 PLUS a 8ft x 2ft Signboard. Price £225. The signboards have been very popular over the last twelve months. They are designed and made by our friends at Signpost Express in Newport in full colour on durable polymer and then mounted on 1″ treated plywood. They are estimated to last at least five years.
We display the signboards at Watcombe Bottom where rugby, football and youth football are played – so there’s a large audience and a great deal of side-line networking. Subsequent to the first year, we will ask for a minimum of £50 per annum (Package 1) to continue as a match sponsor.
