‘I’m raising money for Blood Cancer UK as it is recently something that has affected me and my family.

It’s something that started back in 2020 with what was thought to be just a broken leg. Since then it’s been ongoing treatment for both that and cancerous cells.

My Dad is now in recovery/remission from Myeloma, on maintenance drugs and regular monitoring.

After last year having to take a year out of his life to receive chemotherapy, stem cell and all other forms of treatment. He is now, however living his best life and jumping at every social opportunity that his body lets him.

I wanted to be able to do something that challenged me and also benefited the research and support provided by Blood Cancer UK.

Running the London Marathon in 2026 ticks both those boxes and goes a small way in making me feel like I have contributed to help and show support for both my Dad and someone else that may be in a similar situation.

So please help me reach my target by donating anything you can.

Thank you!’
