Saturday 19th April 2026 A Ventnor XV and an Executive Command XV

Ventnor Rugby Club hosted this match in memory of Tristan Price – with the Tristan Price Memorial Charity Match Saturday 19th April 2026 – one of the real legends of the club who lost his life in a road accident in January.

The game was played between an ever-changing Ventnor RFC XV and a team brought together by Executive Command, the company for which Tristan had worked.

It was an excellent encounter played with great commitment and spirit in which the final score was entirely irrelevant since the important matter of the day was that all proceedings were going to help Tristan’s family.

Ventnor’s tries were scored by Tom Branagh, Max Henley, Jack Gilbey, Adam Wade (2), Chris Rose, Max Wheeler (2), Regan Newbury (2), John Waghorn, Tommo Engelgardt and Pat Banks.

The day was a great success with a barbecue, a raffle and an auction plus voluntary donations all contributing to Tristan’s fund

We are raising funds to help support Tristan’s family with the immediate funeral and memorial expenses.

Any additional funds raised will be placed into a junior ISA for his daughter, to help support her future and honour Tristan’s legacy as a loving father.
