The spoils went to the Isle of Wight for this game.
Ventnor 1XV went out to try and get a second win over the Isle of Wight this season, but it wasn’t to be.
The home side started well and scored early on. Ventnor were then their own worst enemy and continuously gave away penalties within their own half which allowed the Isle of Wight 10 to put a number of points on the board. Riches was the only Ventnor player to gain points by converting a penalty of their own before the end of the 1st half.
The second half saw a more determined Ventnor go out but were unable to turn the pressure into points disappointingly.
