Match preview for Ventnor RFC 1XV and 2XV away to Christchurch RFC for a doubleheader this Saturday 21 October 2023

Despite a disappointing loss against a strong Romsey side, there was lots to admire in Ventnor’s performance which was disrupted by injuries to Alex Morton and Sam Line before halftime. On the plus side, it was good to see Harvey Wheeler back in the 1st XV after over a year out with his wrist injury.

Many thanks to Nancy for the excellent post-match food and – as ever – to Deano for his work behind the bar and to James Blake for the quality of the pitch.
