Unfortunately, BOTH games were called off on Saturday due to waterlogged pitches at Overton and Millbrook – the latter only a few hours before the scheduled kick-off which meant some quick work by Clive to cancel coaches and taxis etc.
We don’t know when the rescheduled date will be but Damo reckons 7th Feb looks likely.
With Christmas closing in fast, remember to favour our sponsors when you’re buying provisions and gifts. For instance Briddlesford Farm or Norris Family Stores in Niton can supply all your Christmas fare whilst The Flower Garden (Newport) and Flowers for You (Ventnor) have lots of gift choices as well as flowers for Island delivery.

This is a brilliant way to raise money for the club which will cost you NOTHING.

So far – due to several members who are using Easyfundraising – the club has benefitted by about £450. Wightlink and Red Funnel are both on there as well as most of the big superstores if you’re getting home deliveries so NOW is the perfect time to get onboard.
