‘Unfortunately Alton have had to cancel their trip to play Ventnor’s 1st XV tomorrow due to a lack of players. This means that there is no game at all tomorrow because the 2nd XV game against Southampton (that appears on your fixture list) had already been rescheduled – ironically – so we wouldn’t have a home double header!’
