Dear VRFC Members
It is with sad regret that I have to inform you that Martin Poynter , a former player for many years at our club, passed away today at the age of 49.
Not only was it my privilege to play alongside this giant of a man but also my privilege to call him a friend. Many of our members will have played, drunk and sung a song with Martin, a true gentleman and sportsman.
You will be sadly missed and never forgotten
