Ventnor RFC vs Isle of Wight RFC on Saturday 24 September 2022
Ventnor RFC 1XV play the Isle of Wight RFC 1sts at Watcombe this Saturday (24th September 2022) with a kick off at 3pm.
This is a Hampshire Counties 3 league game and a huge match for both teams not just because of their traditional rivalry but because they both want to maintain the momentum from big wins last Saturday.
Ventnor skipper Lewis Jones is hoping that the style that put seven tries past Portsmouth RFC (Ventnor RFC 1XV 53-17 Portsmouth RFC 2XV Sat 17 Sept 2022) can be repeated.
Meanwhile the Ventnor RFC 2XV home game, in the Counties 5 Hampshire South West league, against Millbrook RFC looks like it’ll be postponed due to lack of numbers.
There’s a Vice Presidents’ Lunch before the game and the bar will be open from 1pm.
