The club would like to thank Zoe and Lewis Jones for their service on the committee and as skipper on the pitch respectively. With her increased responsibilities within the Hampshire RFU, it’s no surprise that Zoe felt it time to give up some of the day-to-day duties within the VRFC committee.

The club welcome Neil Evans as our new Director of Rugby. Neil has put together a great coaching staff, namely: Neil (DOR and Backs), Clive Cardwell-Hill (Forwards, First Phase Possession), Dean Magnurson (Forwards, Ball Retention), Todd Riches (Backs, Attack).

Training will be rescheduled during the season so that Tuesdays will focus on fitness under Lewy Morton, Andy Teague and Layton Greatorex whilst Thursdays will centre around squad training, skills and tactical play.

The club voted to add Steve Champion and Mark Rogers to the roster of Ventnor RFC Honorary Life Members. Many congratulations to Steve and Mark on this well-merited honour.

Best Regards

James
