Today, Saturday 9 November 2024, Ventnor’s 2nd XV travel to Tottonians. Our 2nds – The Lions – have had a tough start to their Hampshire Premiership South Merit Table campaign.
With the Ventnor 2nds XV travelling to Tottonians for their fourth away game of the season – with no home game to mix them up!
Without Jack Rushton (out with a back injury), Deano Magnurson leads the team.

This game will be their fourth away match of the season while their only home game was cancelled due to the opposition crying off. Jack Rushton and the lads deserve massive credit for fulfilling these fixtures where they have often been facing teams fielding apparent infinite numbers of substitutes!

Thursday’s training is now taking place at the Equestrian Centre at Lake Farm in Rookley (behind The Chequers). Thanks to Neil and Ben Souter for sorting this out. The first session last week was excellent.
