Match preview Ventnor Rugby Club 2XV v Fawley Rugby Club Saturday 11 October 2025
This Saturday (11th Oct), Ventnor’s 1st XV travel to Ellingham and Ringwood RFC to play their 2nd XV who had a convincing away win against Eastleigh 2nds on Saturday.
Lewy leads a team full of confidence after their terrific performance against Aldershot and Fleet RFC which ended with a 64 – 12 to Ventnor with tries from Josh Braham (2), Tom Branagh (4), Jason Coltham, Hayden Lythgoe and Jacob Jordan (2). Tom Crews slotted seven conversions despite the best efforts of Storm Amy!
The game was preceded by a very well subscribed Vice Presidents’ lunch with forty people attending enjoying a hilarious speech from Adrian Besozzi of The Bonchurch Inn. Many thanks to Brad, Molly and Jeannette for their work behind the bar and to Liz, Carrie and Kira who ran the kitchen so efficiently.
