Steve Champion scored the opening try in a game that Ventnor dominated.
Ventnor RFC 2XV started well with excellent forward play, allowing the backs plenty of running space, which resulted in some excellent tries.
Two from winger Jude Scovell and one each from Stuart Fraser, veteran Alan Lacy, Steve Champion and Alan Farrow.
Down to 11 men through injury Southampton University Hospital RFC had an excellent second half, scoring 15 unanswered points as Ventnor sat back on their lead.
Ventnor Captain Martin Pointer rallied his side late in the game.
