Rugby at Watcombe with Ventnor RFC 1XV v Gosport and Fareham RFC 2XV Saturday 26 March 2022
Tomorrow, Saturday 26th March, Ventnor’s 1st XV play Gosport and Fareham RFC 2nds in our last home Hampshire league game of the season. Kick off is at 3pm.
The lads are determined to come off this bad run they’re on at present, so please come along and give them encouragement.
Prior to the game, there’s a Vice Presidents’ lunch with a sit down time of 1:30. There may be a couple of places up, so let me know if you can attend.
Following the game there will be ample opportunity to celebrate Dean Magnurson‘s half-century with the odd beer, food and a DJ going deep into the evening.
Ventnor RFC 1XV currently lie ninth in the Hampshire One league table for 2021-22 season, on 28 points, whilst Gosport and Fareham RFC 2XV lie in seventh with 36 points.
Ventnor RFC have one remaining fixture after this Saturday’s game, with their final game of the 2021-22 season a local derby away against Isle of Wight RFC 1XV.
On other matters, you’re running out of time, with just 6 days left to book your Dinner Dance tickets which takes place at the clubhouse on 9th April 2022. The closing date for ticket purchase is 31st March!
