Rugby at Watcombe for Ventnor RFC 2XV v Winchester RFC Knights Sat 28 January 2023
While Ventnor RFC 1st XV fly out to take on league leaders Guernsey RFC 2XV, in the Counties 3 Hampshire league game, today Ventnor’s 2nd XV play Winchester RFC Knights, in the Counties 5 Hampshire South West league game, at Watcombe with a kick off at 2pm.
After last Saturday’s double win, there is deserved new confidence within the group.
Many thanks to everybody who helped last week – especially Jan, Liz, Dill, Steve, Roly and Deano in the kitchen and bar. And thanks to Sally at The Kitchen and Bistro at London House for providing the food for the VPs’ lunch as well as Warren for hosting and Ron and Tommo for sorting the raffle.
Hope to see you at Watcombe. As it’s a 2nd XV game and you fancy a runout, bring your boots and a gumshield!
