Rugby at Watcombe for Ventnor RFC 2XV v Lymington Mariners RFC Sat 4 February 2023
There’s rugby at Watcombe on Saturday when Ventnor’s 2nd XV take on league leaders Lymington Mariners RFC in the Counties 5 Hampshire South West league game. The kick-off is at 2pm.
Skipper James Blake has put together a great team with a full bench and will be looking forward to a repeat of the inspiring second-half performance against Tottonians RFC 4XV of Saturday 21 January 2023.
The bar will be open from 1pm and the Six Nations games will be on the TV.
EMILE ROUBY
Before kick-off, there will be a minute’s silence to remember Emile Rouby who sadly died earlier this week.
As you know, Emile was one of the great servants of Ventnor RFC as well as a great man.
There is no Counties 3 Hampshire League game for Ventnor RFC 1XV this weekend. The next 1st fixture is next Saturday 11 February at home to Gosport and Fareham RFC 2XV.
