Last Ventnor RFC games of 2023-24 season at Watcombe this Saturday
There’s plenty of rugby taking place at Watcombe this Saturday 6th April 2024, in the final games for both Ventnor RFC teams for the 2023-24 season.
Ventnor RFC 2XV v Portsmouth RFC 3XV Counties Counties 5 Hampshire South West
With a 13:00 kick off, Ventnor 2nds take on Portsmouth 3rds. With seven wins, two draws and two losses, Jack Rushton’s Lions have already secured 2nd place in the Hampshire League 5 (south) so they are looking to go out on a high with a win against 3rd placed Pompey. This is a Counties 5 Hampshire South West 2023-24 league fixture.
Ventnor RFC 1XV v Portsmouth RFC 1XV Counties 3 Hampshire 2023-24 fixture
Following that game, Ventnor 1sts will take on Portsmouth 2nds with a kick off at 15:00. This is a Counties 3 Hampshire 2023-24 league fixture.
Portsmouth RFC promise to be travelling with two full squads plus supporters so Skelley, Bob, Gary, Jack and the crew are going to be firing up the hogroast and barbecue to both feed the teams and provide for anyone who’s a bit peckish.
It’s the last VPs’ lunch of the season with a sit-down at 12:30 so, if you haven’t booked your place, get back to me asap.
