With two Isle of Wight rugby teams you can join whatever your level, as part of one of the three Isle of Wight rugby club’s on the island for adult male players.
Ventnor Rugby Club’s 1XV team play in the Counties 3 Hampshire League 2024-25, with fixtures for this season through to April 2025.
Ventnor Rugby Club’s 2XV team play in the Hampshire Premiership South League 2024-25, with fixtures through to April 2025.

Twice Weekly Rugby Training
As a player member you be able to join your team mates at the Ventnor Rugby Club training, which is held twice per week:
For 2024-25 season Director of Rugby, Neil Evans, has put together a great coaching staff, namely: Neil (DOR and Backs), Clive Cardwell-Hill (Forwards, First Phase Possession), Dean Magnurson (Forwards, Ball Retention), Todd Riches (Backs, Attack).
TUESDAYS TRAINING 2024-25 SEASON: FITNESS – 6.30pm to 8.30pm
THURSDAYS TRAINING 2024-25 SEASON: SQUAD, SKILLS, TACTICAL PLAY – 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Training will be rescheduled during the season so that Tuesdays will focus on fitness under Lewy Morton, Andy Teague and Layton Greatorex whilst Thursdays will centre around squad training, skills and tactical play.
