Overton were not able to travel to with a full squad so – within Hampshire League protocols – the match was played as a thirteen versus thirteen friendly with uncontested scrums.
Ventnor prevailed in a shortened match with tries from Dan Lythgoe, Joe Coghlan, Alec Bulpitt, Lewis Jones and Ed Blake. Max Wheeler kicked two conversions.
