Today Ventnor Rugby Club 2XV v United Services Rugby Club 2XV 28-02-2026
Both Ventnor Rugby Club teams have two home games today, Saturday 28th February 2026 at Watcombe Bottom.
First up is will be our 2nd XV game against United Services RFC 2XV, kicking off at 12:30
This will be the first 2nd XV home game since 8th November, when they played Christchurch RFC
The 2nd XV kick off at 12:30 when they play United Services Portsmouth. Deano Magnurson leads a 23 strong squad made up of: Iain Reeves, Henrik Brown, Grant Richardson, Ewan Castle, Nathan Frampton, Luke Starkey, Charlie Magnurson, Rosco Harris, Beau Bridgeman, Adam Wade, Ed Blake, Harry Ottley, Tony Jacobson, Warren Riches, Blake Tombleson*, James Blake, Olly Wood, Gary Ball, Dan Muir, Alan Fox, Brad Francis and Bob Parker.
*denotes Watcombe debut.
Whilst our 2nds have been hampered by a series of away fixtures against strong oppositions.
To their credit, they have fulfilled all of these fixtures and put on some terrific displays whilst bringing in new players – a sign of good things to come.

Due to the crowded schedule for Saturday, the Vice Presidents’ lunch of 28 February 2026 has been cancelled so the next Vice Presidents’ Lunch will now be on 28th March 2026 when Isle of Wight RFC come to town . . .
