On every Wednesday evening – starting at 6pm – there is the ever more popular touch rugby sessions open to all, men and women, girls and boys. This Friday (15th July 2022) there is a charity cricket match being played at Watcombe between Ventnor Rugby Club and Ventnor Football Club, starting at 6pm, in aid of a Ukrainian Orphanage.
Many thanks to James Blake, our grounds manager, for preparing the pitch. This promises to be a fun evening and Mike and Carrie will have the bar open.
Please come up and support the boys as they raise money for this vital cause. Bar open and all are welcome. Ample parking available.
On Saturday 6th August 2022, the club hold their annual Awards and BBQ evening. More details to follow.
On Saturday 3rd September, the season for the 1st XV gets underway when we play Havant at home, with the fixtures announced for Ventnor RFC 1XV in the Counties 3 Hampshire League 2022-23.
Supporting this fixture will be The John Adams Memorial Match in which a combined team from the Hurricanes and the Isle of Wight clubs will play against a select Ventnor XV. This will be a great day for the club a chance to honour a magnificent servant to VRFC.
