Ventnor II’s game against Farnborough II this Saturday (16th March) has been called off by Farnborough.
Next weekend will see Ventnor I host Fawley at Watcombe Bottom in a key Hampshire 2 match. Ventnor II ‘travel’ to local rivals Isle of Wight II in the local derby. IOW will be looking to regain some pride after their 53-25 defeat in the reverse fixture last year.
Both Ventnor sides games were postponed this weekend due to poor weather – they will be rearranged.
Ventnor were disappointed this weekend when Alresford and their second team couldnt raise sides to travel to Ventnor. Ventnor I and II are awarded the points.
The match with Lymington Mariners II on 3 November 2012 was postponed and will be rearranged for later in the season.
